Today’s full moon in Virgo is the last full moon of the astrological year. Full moons represent a release point, and a time of letting go. While the moon sits opposite the sun, our subconscious (moon) is illuminated, which can bring a sense of clarity to what needs to change.
Virgo’s evolutionarily goal is to self-transform and aim for its highest potential. Virgo energy is that of adjustment, refinement and improvement. This full moon speaks to creating the necessary rituals and habits that can support us in our day-to-day life. It’s about creating routine(s) that support us mind-body(Virgo)-soul (Pisces) and that give us the ability to show up and serve in a meaningful and impactful way.
Shortly after the full moon peaks, Saturn (the planet of discipline) moves into Pisces which also speaks to creating structures and foundations that sustain us spirituality and support us in anchoring our visions (Pisces) into reality.
The full moon is in friction with fiery Mars (our drive). While the moon in Virgo symbolizes practicality, and the sun in Pisces symbolizes a meditative pause, Mars is all about action, so we may be feeling that tension internally. Uranus (known as the great awakener) brings a supportive tone to this lunation in that it can “awaken” us to the changes that we need to create so that our daily habits and routines are supportive of both our goals and well-being.
Reflections:
Are my daily habits supportive of both my goals, and my physical, spiritual and mental health?
Are my daily routines in need of organization and/or structure to help ground my goals/visions into reality?
When it comes to productivity and rest, do I prioritize rest just as much as I do productivity? If not, how can I incorporate moments of rest into my day?
While being practical and analytical (Virgo) is necessary, do I also allow myself to listen to and follow my intuition (Pisces)? And vice versa?
